Dr. Christian Cruz
Dr. Christian Cruz is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. A native of Philadelphia, Dr. Cruz attended Ursinus College where he graduated Cum Laude and was a vital member of the Men’s Soccer team. Dr. Cruz then attended Drexel University College of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Cruz was selected for Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center. During his residency training he received two Army Achievement Medals and an Army Commendation Medal. After residency Dr. Cruz completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Southern California and Keck Hospital of USC. During this time, he served as team physician to USC Athletics including the USC Trojans football team, soccer, lacrosse, and volleyball teams. Dr. Cruz also served as team physician for the Los Angeles Kings.

Dr. Cruz has a specific focus on peer reviewed research and furthering patient outcomes through high quality research. Dr. Cruz has received multiple awards including the prestigious AOSSM O’Donoghue award. Dr. Cruz has been published in peer-reviewed journals, written textbook chapters, review articles and published surgical technique videos. He has presented at numerous local, regional, national, and international meetings. Dr. Cruz is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).
